Considering the current globalization process, which facilitates a genuine cultural dialogue, it is necessary to explore, from various viewpoints, subjects related to interdisciplinarity and multilingualism.
The Cross-Border Faculty of the „Dunărea de Jos” University of Galati aims to establish long-lasting ties between different higher education institutions, a goal also proved by the strong connections it has been developing with the universities from the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine. Consequently, being interested in internationalization, the faculty wishes to facilitate the exchange of ideas related to multilingualism and multiculturality, thus targeting new grounds of scientific research.
The „Ion Creangă” Pedagogical State University of Chișinău is the only state-financed higher education institution with pedagogical profile from the Republic of Moldova, and, at the same time, a valuable partner that supports cross-border actions focused on intensifying the scientific and didactic communication.
Following this fruitful cooperation between „Dunărea de Jos” University of Galati and „Ion Creangă” Pedagogical State University of Chișinău, the two institutions have agreed to organize, during 26-27 September 2019, the international conference entitled “Interdisciplinarity and multicultural dialogue”.
